Christchurch,
New
Zealand
Operations
A
magnitude
6.3
earthquake
occurred
10km
south-east
of
Christchurch
at
12:51,
February
22,
2011.
Due to
this
earthquake
and
several
of the
aftershocks,
the
Christchurch
branch
was
closed
for a
period
of time
as a
result
of
damage
to the
building
and
disruption
to
essential
services.
These
services
have now
been
restored
and the
Christchurch
branch
is
operating
normally.

Secure A
Load
'Young
Guns'
cycle
from
Sydney
to
Wollongong
for MS
On Sunday 7th November, the
'Young Guns' cycled 58km from Engadine in Sydney's south to
Wollongong to raise funds to support over 20,000 Australians
living with Multiple Sclerosis. This is the second year that the
'Young Guns' have participated in the ride and together this
year with 12 riders and the support of Secure A Load, they have raised
almost $8,000 for the cause.
The Sydney - Gong Bike Ride is
the largest fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis in Australia with
10,000 participants and MS Australia are hoping to raise over
AUD$4 million. The 'Young Guns' team captain, Damien Young said "It
was great to have Secure A Load supporting us this year and even
better to have some cold beers waiting for us at the end of the
ride!"

Office has now moved to new premises, which
will enable further expansion and
development of the New Zealand market. Mr.

Gavan Purchases "Secure A Load House"
In a multi million dollar deal the Directors of Gavan Holdings have purchased the property at 17 Andrew Baxter Drive, Airport Oaks. In the suburb of Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand the building consists of some 1530 sqm on 4'048 sqm of freehold land, which will enable expansion of the building in the future when required. The property is within ten minutes of Auckland International Airport and in the heart land of both Intermodal storage and Transport Industries

We welcomed Mr Derek
Cooper to the team as the Queensland
Sales Manager to our recently obtained
transport accessories division. Mr Cooper
has had 25 years in the transport industry
working in major companies such as TNT
and Ipec and brings a wealth of experience
to the team. Mr Cooper stated that he
